so is there a wedding ceremony?

our ceremony is on a friday afternoon at city hall in san francisco and we are keeping it small, short, & sweet with just family. so short answer---it will say on your invite.

is this a weekend long event?

if you want it to be!---but it's not the expectation at all---the only scheduled events are on friday. if you are around on saturday afternoon and feel like hanging out, come have a beer with us at faction brewing.

can i bring someone who isn't on the invite?

we have limited space at the wayfare tavern and dahlia lounge on friday night so we are keeping it invite only for dinner & the after party---BUT if you are up for coming to faction on saturday bring whoever you want (dogs & kids more than welcome).

 

what should i wear? 

think cocktail attire but no need to get too formal---dresses, jumpsuits, pant/sweater combos, collared shirt---that sort of thing (feel free to wear a tie if that's the look but it's not a necessity). be you, but be fancy 'cause we're celebrating! 

 

if you're joining on saturday we will be sitting outside. november temperatures in the bay range from 50-65F (10-17C) so have a jacket or coat with you---casual and comfortable with layers.

what should i expect for dinner on friday?

it will be a seated, family style dinner, with an open bar in the sequoia room at the wayfare tavern. meet us there at 6:30pm to have some drinks and chat before dinner gets going around 7:30pm. there will be meat, veggie, and seafood options but if you need any dietary accommodations please let us know ahead of time.

 

we won't have a DJ or dance floor at wayfare tavern but we will have our iphones and a sound system so expect music all throughout dinner. dancing will come later (but no one is stopping you from dancing during dinner if the mood hits).

and after dinner?

completely up to you--- if you need to get home and can only stay for dinner that's totally fine (we're just happy you could be there!) if you want to keep the night going with us, we'll be heading to dahlia lounge in the mission so meet us there for more celebrating and dancing late into the night. 

 

what about a registry?

there isn't much we need and all we really want is your presence! we've created a newlywed fund if you'd like to contribute.
